Counseling & Treatment Philosophy
Reaching out for help is not a weakness or a sign that something is broken. Instead, it takes courage and reflects hope. My passion is to tap into and foster the very hope and courage that brings people into therapy. I believe a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship is crucial to helping others find solutions and achieve their goals. From a family systems perspective, I work with individuals, couples, families, or other interpersonal relationships. In addition, while my approach is rooted in Christian conservative values, I always respect each client’s individual beliefs and unique experiences.
I work with individuals, couples, and families to navigate challenges such as depression, anxiety, trauma, sexual abuse, and other emotional or relational difficulties. I offer both in-person and telehealth sessions to fit your needs, with affordable rates and flexible payment options. Extended evening hours are also available for added convenience. I am a Licensed Marital and Family Therapist at Turning Point Counseling. I graduated from the University of Louisiana Monroe and have 24 years of experience in the Psychiatric and Senior Living industries. I strive to create a safe and welcoming space where clients can feel understood, explore their challenges, and make meaningful progress in their lives.

I earned my M.A. degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Louisiana at Monroe. Following graduation, I worked 24 years in the Psychiatric and Senior Living industries.
